Kate Middleton was seen on tape talking about Princess Diana, her late mother-in-law.
The princess, who recently assumed Diana’s title of Princess of Wales, made the comments on Thursday when speaking with admirers in Aberfan, Wales.
When questioned about Diana, Middleton, 41, who ordinarily observes a dignified silence, seemed delighted to talk about the adored late queen.
The 12-carat blue sapphire engagement ring that Prince William, 40, used to pop the question to Middleton was once owned by Diana.
Middleton was heard remarking, “It was exactly the same size,” in video posted to Instagram. It is very unique. What a privilege it is to be able to wear it.

One individual applauded, “She really is class personified!”
Another person said, “I don’t believe I’ve ever heard Kate talk about Diana — more of this, please!”
A third person said, “Seeing her talk about her ring and how she’s honoured to wear it, you can see how genuine she is.”

According to Middleton, Diana would have made a “brilliant grandmother” and that she is “missed every day.”

On Friday, Middleton continued to captivate Wales and gained more admirers.
She was in Aberfan with Prince William to pay tribute to the 144 residents of the village who died in a landslip in 1966.
The mother-of-three was seen grinning earlier today at another meet-and-greet as a young child snatched her $845 Mulberry purse and started playing with it.

One of Middleton’s final public engagements before King Charles’ coronation on May 6 is anticipated to be the trip to Wales.
Prince Harry, her estranged brother-in-law, is anticipated to travel in for the historic wedding without his wife, Meghan Markle, putting the princess face-to-face with him.
Tom Bower, a royal author, recently theorised that Middleton “blocked” Markle from going to the occasion.
Another royal author, Robert Jobson, asserted that Middleton is “eaten up” by missing Queen Elizabeth’s final moments and blames Markle for preventing Middleton from visiting the monarch at her bedside in Balmoral, Scotland, prior to the monarch’s passing in September.
