CHENNAI: After 16 years, an international event will be held in Chennai, giving the city’s hockey enthusiasts a taste of the Indo-Pak rivalry. On Monday morning, Pakistan said that they would send a squad to the Asian Champions Trophy, which will take place in Chennai from August 3–12.
The top six Asian teams will be on display, including the hosts India, the defending champions South Korea, Malaysia, and Japan. China also confirmed their participation on Sunday evening.
